What a wonderful year 2014 has been. Many trips, new friends and experiences, unforgettable moments and places, memories made, great food, diving, Formula 1, lake, mountain, wine, big cities, gems, island, boat trips, photos, underwater photos, and the beginning of Packing my Suitcase.
It was in April, precisely in San Marino – the first trip of the year – when it all began…
Not so long after exploring the amazing medieval little town of San Marino at the Monte Titano, in June came Croatia. From Munich, my traveling dog, W and I drove to the beautiful Croatian island Krk, and stayed in the charming city of Baska. It was there where W and I learned how to dive, and finished our Open Water Diver course.
At the end of trip we made a little stop at the pretty Ljubljana. What an enchanting place…
In July I went to the amazing Budapest for the 2nd time, especially to see a Formula 1 race, one of the best throughout the 2014 season. What a weekend!
Then, it was Italy’s turn in September! We drove to Milan during a sunny weekend, just to see the Formula 1 once again. Walking and walking around the circuit… all worth the while to see those beauties racing once more!
Still in September, W and I visited for the first time the magical Istanbul, and managed in a short time, to see the main attractions of the city…
And the gem Kas! What a country is Turkey, how amazingly friendly are the Turkish people. We had unforgettable days in this country, and even managed to get out Advanced Open Water diving certification!
Yup, we went down to 38m depth, did wreck diving and saw many turtles and stingrays. We surely had an amazing time!
November came, and we made our last trip of the year to Marsa Alam, Egypt. We spent 10 days diving non-stop in this paradise for divers…
We enjoyed the sun, that is for sure, but we spent most of our days underwater, just the way I like it. We saw turtles, stingrays, lionfish, crocodile fish, we did wreck diving, cave diving and we saw one of most dangerous shark species in the World, the Oceanic White Tip!
Not only did I travel, but also discovered and shared with you a little bit of the German culture too: like the Oktoberfest, German habits, the must see in Munich, what to do in Munich during summer, German Christmas traditions, 10 reasons to live in Munich, the fairy tale castle Neuschwanstein, my favorite streets of Munich, what was it like to spend the World Cup in Germany, I made a tour around Munich’s Christmas Markets, and much more.
What a year! I am not only grateful for all the trips I made, but also to all of you reading and following Packing my Suitcase. I know many of you never leave a comment but enjoy reading my posts anyways, and I know that many of you love to leave me a comment… I am grateful to every single one of you!

May 2015 be filled with trips to all of you, may I keep inspiring you somehow to travel the World and to keep visiting Packing my Suitcase, you are all very welcome here. Thank you so much for the support, you are the best!
