Exactly 1 year ago I was publishing my first post on Packing my Suitcase. Back then I had no idea how much my life would change, and how serious this blog thing was going to become.
One year has gone by. I have met wonderful people from all over the world, I have given advices about living in Germany, I have told stories, I have shared my passions and my trips with you. My writing improved, so did my photography skills, and thanks to all of you and all your support, I feel ready to begin with the right foot, one more year of travel blogging.
Today, Packing my Suitcase has over 7,000 followers altogether, both across social media and newsletters sign-ups. There are over 75 posts published both in English and Portuguese, over 4,000 comments, and 52,700 page views! Wow, you are awesome! Thank you so much for all your support, you put a smile on my face everyday.
Accomplishments apart, there are some special people I want to thank now, people who have been traveling along with me throughout the last year, people who have been supporting me every day even if they don’t leave a comment, people who appreciate what I do and also people who criticise (very much appreciated):
First of all, thank you to my technical support, my biggest supporter in all possible ways, my travel companion, my lover, my husband: W.
Second, to my traveling dog for always keeping my feet warm while I write my posts… my little everything: Enzzo.
Third, to the members of my family back in Brazil who believe in me and on the success of Packing my Suitcase. I love you.
Fourth, to all of you readers who brighten my day with your comments and silence: you rock my world!
